Kushtia, 14 March 2016 – In an effort to promote environmental and health awareness, Gurukul Education Family organised a cleanliness drive at Kangal Harinath Campus. The campaign was inaugurated at 10:30 a.m. by Matiur Rahman Majnu, Panel Mayor of Kushtia Municipality, and Jomarat Ali, Councillor for Ward No. 7.
Event Atmosphere
The inaugural moment was lively and inspiring, with active participation from students, teachers, officials, and staff members. Following the inauguration, the Panel Mayor remarked:
“It is everyone’s responsibility to keep the city clean. We must develop the habit of disposing of waste properly instead of throwing it indiscriminately. Alongside keeping our own homes and workplaces clean, we must also encourage our neighbours to do the same.”
He praised the initiative of Gurukul Education Family and urged the authorities to carry out such drives on a regular basis.

Activities of the Campaign
Participants in the cleanliness drive personally cleaned the campus premises, nearby streets, drains, and open areas, removing accumulated waste and litter. The core aim of the initiative was to raise awareness among students about maintaining both personal and public hygiene.
Future Plans
Gurukul Education Family has announced that they will continue to hold regular cleanliness drives at Kangal Harinath Campus and across all their campuses in Kushtia to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
