The Honourable Minister for Science and Information & Communication Technology of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Architect Yeafesh Osman, has formally inaugurated a new campus of Gurukul, located in the Kalishankarpur area of Kushtia town.
At the inaugural ceremony, he praised Gurukul’s educational initiatives and its significant role in promoting modern, technology-based learning. He remarked, “Technology-driven education not only produces skilled human resources but also accelerates the path to national economic development. Gurukul is a commendable initiative in this regard.”
According to Gurukul authorities, the new campus will provide students with a modern, technology-enriched and conducive environment, offering all necessary facilities for teaching, research, and skills development.
The campus has been established primarily for students of Gurukul’s Kamrul Islam Siddique Institute. It will offer diploma programmes in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Textile, Computer, and Power disciplines, among others.
Following the inauguration, Sufi Faruq Ibne Abubakar, Head of Gurukul, toured the institute’s modern laboratories and other facilities. The Chairman of Gurukul, Aziza Ahmed, along with other senior officials of the institution, was also present on the occasion.
